Hi friends and local business owners!

I'm starting to reach out to organizations and businesses in our area to help support the Owen Sound Memoir Series and make it successful.

The Owen Sound Memoir Series is a new literary series that brings nationally-recognized Canadian memoir authors from diverse backgrounds to Owen Sound.

Each month, one writer will give a reading from their recently published memoir, talk about the themes in their book, and participate in a lively Q&A session with the audience. At a separate workshop, local writers can learn from the guest author about writing their own life story.

Our first event will be on the weekend of February 2-3, 2024, when we will bring in Ali Hassan, comedian and CBC Radio host. For our next events in 2024, we are inviting other acclaimed and best-selling authors.

We are looking for partners and sponsors to make the Owen Sound Memoir Series a success. We invite you to consider the following opportunities:

Series Partner:
We are partnering with local and regional organizations through an in-kind contribution. We are looking for help to spread the word about our monthly events by sharing our information through email and social media. In turn, the Owen Sound Memoir Series will encourage our patrons to support your organization or business. We will display your organization’s name and logo on our website, in our emails, through social media, and in our branded merchandise.

Series Sponsor:
We are looking for local and regional businesses to purchase advertising space with the Owen Sound Memoir Series. We will promote your business and display your organization’s name and logo on our website, in our emails, through social media, and in our branded merchandise.

Sponsorship tiers:
$250/event
$500/event
$4,000 for all events in 2024

We look forward to finding a way to connect the Owen Sound Memoir Series with your organization in helpful cooperation. Please let us know how we can work together!
