It is with sadness and rejoicing that we share of Audrey B Harder’s passing on June 16, 2026 at the age of 91!

*Not to be confused with the Audrey Harder who worked as Administrative Assistant for over 45 years - most of them as Executive Administrative Assistant to the past 4 or 5 Presidents!*

Audrey graduated from Providence Theological Seminary in 1990 with her M.A. in Biblical Counselling. She was immediately hired as Professor of Counselling working along side Steve Masterson and Don Sawatzky for the next 10 years.

She left Providence in 1999 and moved to Ontario to be near her daughter and her family. She moved in to their home there the same day her first grandson was born.

She was predeceased by her husband John in 2024.

The words for her 1990 graduation were:
“My goal is God Himself, not joy nor peace. Not even blessing, but Himself, my God: “Tis His to lead me there, not mine but His. At any cost dear Lord, by any road! “I want to know Christ...let me live up to what I have already attained.” Phil. 3:10a,16
