The Faculty of Education Students’ Association proudly endorses the WALKOUT FOR OSAP protest led by UOSU.
Recent changes to OSAP impact not only B.Ed. students, but also the future students we will one day teach, limiting their access to post-secondary education. In light of this, our team has unanimously voted to support and endorse this campaign.
For more information, please visit the first link in our Linktree (in our bio).
“JOIN US: March 24th, 1:30 PM at the Ottawa Provincial Courthouse and march to Parliament to protest against the changes the Ford Government made to OSAP. These changes will stop thousands of students from continuing their education or otherwise leave them in crippling debt.“

💜 Thank you to everyone who attended the LivingWorks safeTALK workshop on March 7!
safeTALK is a su***de prevention training that helps participants recognize when someone may be having thoughts of su***de and teaches how to respond by connecting them with the support they need. Throughout the session, we learned how to identify potential warning signs, approach conversations with care and confidence, and help link individuals to further help through the TALK steps (Tell, Ask, Listen, and KeepSafe).
We’re grateful to everyone who took the time to participate in this important learning opportunity. As future educators, we hope to carry this knowledge forward, both in our everyday lives and in our future classrooms, so we can help create safer, more supportive spaces for those who may be struggling. 💜
