For the final step in our enrollment process, an interview is set up between the parents, our Director, and a Board member. This is an opportunity to discuss the family’s commitment to classical, Christian education and the school's vision, as well as to provide parents a chance to raise any unanswered questions. The Board will make the final decision on a family’s acceptance into the school based on the recommendations of the interviewers.

It was a joy to reflect on a year of creating beautiful art and music at our SK art show and Artfest last week! The students loved sharing their masterpieces with family and friends. We are so grateful to our incredible Music, Art and Drama teachers for their investment in our students. We also truly enjoyed the Grade 7 & 8 production of “The Snow Queen” by Hans Christian Andersen.

We are proud to share the result of our school fundraiser in support of cancer research.
Led by Mr. Beckingham and a dedicated team of grade 7–8 students, this initiative brought our school community together to raise awareness and funds for an important cause that has affected many in our school community. We are grateful for the help of all who donated, participated, and supported the event.
Our student leaders were honoured to officially present the cheque for $2,241.80 to The Ottawa Cancer Foundation, representing the incredible generosity and effort of our students, staff, families, and community members. Thank you to everyone who helped make this fundraiser such a meaningful success.

Our Chapel service is a glimpse into the heart and culture of St. Timothy’s. Anneke Lendore, one of our parents, shared her thoughts on this in our recent spring newsletter. To read more, and to catch up on news from St. Timothy’s, find our newsletter attached.
“What pulled me to St. Timothy’s more than anything… was the sense of community, the shared values, and the dedication of the parents and staff - in short, the culture of St. Timothy's. I think our daily chapel services beautifully embody this culture. The peaceful simplicity of our little chapel service represents the "magic" of St. Timothy’s. In a world that is loud, fast, and digital, our kids are learning to appreciate stillness. They are learning the beauty of an old hymn and the rhythm of ancient verse. It is amazing to me how just exposing them to these things gives them an opportunity to truly enjoy them.”

As a prayerful activity in the run up to Easter, our students carefully decorated their own Pysanky eggs.

It’s always good to celebrate the arrival of spring with a trip to the sugar bush. Both our SKs and Grade 5 classes had sweet adventures recently. After writing a descriptive paragraph about the sugar bush, the Grade 5 students got to experience the sights, sounds, and best of all tastes of the sugar bush for themselves.

We are so grateful to a number of volunteers who helped our students through the prayerful process of writing pysanky. They learned some of the history and meaning behind this Easter tradition and the technique for creating something beautiful. They turned out really well! What are your most cherished Easter traditions?
