전교생에게 음료 (유치부: 뽀로로 드링크, 1-4학년: 뽀로로 워터젤리, 5-8학년 밀키스) 와 초코파이를 하나씩 나눠 줄 예정입니다.

*음료와 초코파이 간식과 관련된 알러지 우려가 있으신 경우, 가능한 한 빨리 이메일로 알려주시기 바랍니다. 간식의 구성 및 원재료 정보는 이메일 하단에서 확인하실 수 있습니다.

아침 9시 30분까지 모두 운동장으로 모여주시기 바랍니다.

Spring Sports Day will be held this Saturday with wonderful weather expected.

We plan to provide each student with a drink (Kinder: Pororo drink, Gr1-4: Pororo water jelly, Gr 5-8: Milkis) and a Choco Pie.
*If you have any concerns about allergies related to these snacks, please email us as soon as possible.
You can find the details and ingredients of these snacks at the bottom of the email.*

Please have all students arrive at the school yard by 9:30 AM.

What to bring:

NUT-FREE Snacks - The drink and Choco Pie are prizes for the treasure hunt, so please make sure to pack a separate snack.

다음주에 진행될 벼룩시장 관련 안내를 드립니다.

일시: 4월 25일 (토요일)

이번 벼룩시장의 주요 목적은 학생들이 시장 경험을 해보는 것입니다. 각 반은 정해진 시간에 맞춰 벼룩시장을 방문하게 됩니다.

학부모 참여 안내:

자녀 하교 이후, 오후 12시부터 12시 45분까지 학부모님도 함께 참여하실 수 있습니다.

스낵류 음식 (참치김밥, 소고기김밥, 떡볶이, 꽈배기, 빵 (소보로, 팥빵, 커스터드) 등도 판매될 예정입니다.

판매를 원하시는 경우
오전 9시 40분까지 정문으로 오셔서 체육관에서 준비해 주세요.
별도의 참여비는 없으며, 자유롭게 자리를 잡으시면 됩니다. 필요한 테이블, 데스크, 돗자리 등은 댁에서 준비해주시기 바랍니다.
판매자는 행사 종료 (12:45) 시까지 자리를 지켜주시기 바랍니다.
자녀가 직접 판매를 경험하길 원할 경우, 수업이 끝난 오후 12시 이후부터 교대로 판매할 수 있습니다.

We are sharing the final details about the upcoming Flea Market, which will take place next week, as well as Sports Day the following week.

Flea Market

Date: Saturday, April 25

The main goal of the Flea Market is to give students the opportunity to experience a marketplace. Each class will visit the market according to a scheduled time.

Parent Participation:

Parents are welcome to join from 12:00–12:45 PM, after student dismissal, if you would like to participate with your child(ren).
A variety of snack items (tuna gimbap, beef gimbap, tteokbokki, twisted donuts, and other types of bread (soboro, red bean, and custar)) will also be available for purchase.

For Families Who Wish to Sell Items
Please arrive at the front entrance by 9:40 AM to set up in the gym.
No participation fee. Set up anywhere in the gym; please bring a table or mat or blanket to display your items
Sellers are expected to remain until the end of the event (12:45).
If your child(ren) would like to take over selling, they may do so starting at 12:00 PM after their classes finish
If you plan to participate, please email us your name, contact information, and items in advance so we can estimate numbers. ([email protected])
For All Students
Classes will begin visiting the market at 10:30 AM.
This is a student-focused flea market, so please price items at $5 or less to ensure all students can participate.
Items priced above $5 may be sold after 12:00 PM, when students attend with their parents.
For Parents (Buyers)
Please ensure your child brings coins or small bills if they wish to make purchases.
A nail painting station will be organized and run by high school students, and all products used will be child-safe and non-toxic.
Any spending limits or restrictions should be discussed at home in advance.
Sports Day
The following week, on May 2, a sports day will be held on the school field.
Further details will be provided in a later announcement, and as this is an outdoor event, we hope for good weather.

여름 캠프는 오전과 오후로 나뉘어 구성됩니다.

(1) 오전반 프로그램: 한글 및 한국 문화 수업 중심

(2) 오후반 프로그램: 액티비티 중심 (한국무용, 음악, 체육, 과학 등) * 오전반 등록 필수

1. Morning Program : Korean language classes
2. Afternoon Program : Korean cultural classes and activities (Korean traditional dance, music, art, cooking, science etc.)
3. Before and After Care(EDP) : childcare services available before and after the sessions

The camp is divided into a morning and an afternoon program. Depending on your preference, you may choose to register for the morning program only, or for both the morning and afternoon. However, please note that registration for only the afternoon program is NOT available. You must register for the morning program in order to enroll in the afternoon session.

1. Morning Program - CECCE's International Language Program (ILP) Korean Language Course
- Time: 9:00 am - 11:30 pm

Registration will be processed via the school board website (for new students) or the registration email sent to parents (for returning students). Please note that the registration fee is non-refundable.
The registration fee for the morning program is $10 for Ontario residents, and $150 for out-of-province or international students.

3. Payment details will be provided after the location is confirmed (expected in May)
The Afternoon Camp registration link will be sent by email at 10:00 AM on March 30. You may register for selected weeks only if desired.
Early registration for the Afternoon Camp will close at 10:00 PM on April 8. The early registration period will not be extended. Depending on the early registration results, a second registration may open in May. (If registration opens in May, the fee will be $630 for the full 4-week camp, and the weekly registration fee will also change.)
The camp is currently open to students from JK to Grade 8. Please register according to the 2025-2026 school year grade, not the grade as of September 2026.
Programs may vary by week. Please note that Afternoon Camp classes may be organized differently from the morning program due to the registration status, and students may have a different teacher and class assignment.
Camp fee will be paid via e-transfer. Those who register early will receive a confirmation email at the end of March. A payment instruction email will be sent in May, and payment should be made after receiving that email.
Korean-style lunch catering service will be available twice a week, unlike last year. For the remaining days, students will need to bring their own lunch from home.

Important Reminder: If you wish to register for the Afternoon Program completely, you must register your child(ren) for the morning program later. Afternoon registration is not available without the morning registration. If you do not register for the morning program later, your afternoon registration will be canceled.

한글학교 여름 캠프는 오전과 오후로 나눠 구성되며, 오전만 등록하시거나, 오전과 오후 모두 등록하실 수 있습니다.
단, 오후 캠프 또는 돌봄 서비스만 별도로 등록하시는 것은 불가능합니다. 오전 프로그램을 등록한 경우에만 신청가능합니다.

1. 오전 프로그램 - CECCE의 International and Indigenous Language Program (IILP) 한국어 과정
- 시간: 9:00 am - 11:30 am

* 스쿨보드 홈페이지(신규 학생) 또는 학부모님께 발송되는 등록 이메일(기존 학생)을 통하여 등록하실 수 있습니다. (등록비 환급 불가)
오전 등록비는 온타리오 거주자($10), 타주 또는 International Students($150)로 다릅니다.

- EDP 시간: 8:00 - 9:00 am / 4:00 - 5:00 pm

4. 등록시 참고사항
오후 캠프 등록 링크는 3월 30일 오전 10시에 이메일로 발송될 예정입니다. 일부 주차만 등록하는 것도 가능합니다.
오후 캠프 사전 등록은 4월 8일 수요일 밤 10시까지 입니다. 사전 등록 기간은 연장되지 않으며, 마감 이후에는 사전 등록 결과에 따라 5월에 2차 등록이 오픈될 수 있습니다. (5월 등록시 4주 모두 등록시 $630, 주별 등록비도 변경됩니다.)
한글학교 캠프는 현재 JK~8학년까지 등록 가능합니다. 2025~2026년 기준 학년으로 등록해주세요. 2026년 9월 기준 학년이 아닙니다.
각 주별로 준비된 프로그램이 다를 수 있으며, 오후 캠프는 오전 프로그램과 등록 학생과 인원이 달라 담임 선생님 및 반이 변경될 수 있습니다.
등록비 결제는 이트랜스퍼로 진행됩니다. 사전 신청하신 분들께는 4월 중순까지 신청 확인 이메일을 보내드립니다. 이후 결제 안내 이메일은 5월 중 발송될 예정입니다. 추후 결제 안내 이메일을 받고 진행하시기 바랍니다.
한인 업체의 점심 도시락은 작년과 달리 주 2회만 운영될 예정이며, 그 외에는 댁에서 도시락 준비가 필요합니다.
오후 캠프에 등록하고자 하시는 분은 이후 오전 프로그램에도 꼭 자녀를 등록해주시기 바랍니다. 오후 캠프만 등록하시는 것은 불가능하며, 오전 캠프를 등록하지 않으신 경우에는 오후 캠프 등록도 취소되니 주의하시기 바랍니다.

This week is important for OKCS families. Our Annual General Meeting will take place this Saturday and it is also the deadline to register for the After-school Program.

1. 2026 OKCS Parent Annual General Meeting
Date and Time: Saturday, February, 28 at 9:45 A.M.
Location: School Staff Room (at the entrance)
Agenda: Review of the 2025 Financial Statement, Overview of the 2026 Budget, and Q&A
Light snacks will be provided. The purpose of this is to review our financial reports and share our plans for the future of our students at OKCS. We sincerely thank you for your continued interest and support. Please join us after dropping off your child(ren). Hope to see you there!
