The program started in the mid 90s as the Telecommunications Technology Management (TTM) program and has been very successful. TIM has broad appeal and provides benefits to founders of new companies, people seeking more senior leadership roles within established companies, and talented professionals building credentials and expertise for their next move. The program offers an M.ASc., M.Eng., M.Ent., ad M.A.B.A. In addition to classroom based learning, the program specializes in research at the boundary between engineering technology and the management of engineering processes. Close links are maintained with the engineering and technology communities, allowing students to do research of current theoretical and practical significance. Research results provide useful contributions to the management of engineering processes in technology based industries. 🎓 Fall 2026 TIM Orientation

We were delighted to welcome our new students to the Technology Innovation Management program for the Fall 2026 term.

The day opened with Professor Nusa introducing students to the TIM program, its community, and the opportunities that await them throughout their studies. Students then had the opportunity to connect with faculty, current students, and their new peers.

As part of this year’s orientation, TIM introduced a real-world challenge presented by Ken Bradley of Lytica, giving students an early opportunity to collaborate, think critically, and apply their perspectives to an industry problem.

Before the day came to a close, TIM alumni Chika, Jasmeet and Joe shared their experiences in the program, their entrepreneurial journeys, and the ventures they have built, offering valuable insights to our newest cohort.

A strong start to the semester and a wonderful opportunity to bring together students, faculty, and alumni across the TIM community.

We wish our Fall 2026 students every success in the semester ahead!
