Yesterday, the BGInS Students’ Society had the privilege of hosting a Fireside Chat with the Honourable Mona Fortier ( ), Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Honourable Yasir Naqvi ( ), Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of International Trade and to the Secretary of State for International Development.

BGInS ( ) students heard perspectives on Canada’s foreign policy, the work of a Parliamentary Secretary, and experience in federal politics.

The discussion was thoughtfully moderated by Professor Candace Sobers and fourth-year BGInS student Brooke Muzzatti.
