There are 32 people with Salmonella illnesses in an outbreak linked to dog food and treats in four provinces and territories.

Two additional Puppy Love & Puppy World dog treats have been recalled. Do not feed your dog, sell or distribute recalled dog treats.

Children aged 5 years and under, older adults, pregnant people, or people with weakened immune systems are at higher risk for serious illness.

Always wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water immediately after handling any type of dog food or treat.

I spent the day talking to local daycares in about the recent agreement between the provincial & federal gov. regarding the reduced child-care fees. They explained how the changes have impacted their parents, capacity, staff and much more..

When kids cry 😢 it tugs at our heartstrings, and we want to do everything we can to wipe away the pain.

Our children become overwhelmed with their emotions, and we respond with urgency and sometimes from a place of anxiety.

Crying occurs when anxiety is high, and it's a natural response to those challenging feelings.

It makes us human.

Our kids can sail through these emotions in a safe space without us trying to FIX them.

With words of compassion and support, we can give our children the opportunity to feel calm in what feels like chaos.
