We were the first in the city to provide: Flexible care, non-traditional hours, 24/7 a week care, respite and parent night outs.

First in the city to provide: Flexible care, non-traditional hours, 24/7 a week care, respite and parent night outs and of course the first licensed program in Canada to provide group care for children recovering from mild illness surgery and injuries. We were one of the very first programs to provide a Ministry of Education component to our structured day. Our โ€œmissionโ€ addresses our commitment to review our clients childcare requirements on a regular and on-going basis.

Hello everyone,
The preschool children ๐Ÿง’ ๐Ÿ‘ง at Carling have recently carried out a walking water ๐Ÿ’ฆ experiment, where colourful ๐ŸŽจ water ๐Ÿ’ฆ travels from one cup to another using paper towels ๐Ÿงป.
This activity fosters the children's ๐Ÿง’ ๐Ÿ‘ง development of observation, prediction, colour knowledge and colour mixing skills, in addition to enhancing their language abilities.

Wow, our toddlers ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿผ from our Kanata location have been practicing working together on a common task. They took turns laying the blocks ๐Ÿงฑ on top of the structure, and putting the magnets ๐Ÿงฒ on the door frame. ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ They even paced the blocks to each other to build their structure. ๐Ÿ—ผOne of our older toddlers ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿผ even said โ€œ Ms Chris we are doing this together.โ€

Hi everyone,
At 16 Anna, the infants ๐Ÿ‘ถ enjoy exploring with different items on the light ๐Ÿ’ก table. We used sheer scarves ๐Ÿงฃ and translucent plastic boulders on the light ๐Ÿ’ก table on a rainy ๐ŸŒง๏ธ afternoon today.
The infants ๐Ÿ‘ถ enjoyed rolling them over the light ๐Ÿ’ก, and looking through the scarves ๐Ÿงฃ.
This activity promotes collaboration, turn taking, hand ๐Ÿ–๏ธ eye ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ coordination, and gross motor skills.

Guess what our toddler ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿผ programs from our Kanata location did recently? They have started moving their art ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ experiences outside. โ˜€๏ธ This week they started working on a big project that everyone will get to see on hot dog ๐ŸŒญ day. Itโ€™s a multi step project that will be put together with the other programs from our Kanata locations. Keep watching to see the final results. It will be worth waiting for. ๐Ÿ˜Š

With this beautiful weather โ˜€๏ธ now here to stay (hopefully) the toddler children ๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿฝ ๐Ÿง’๐Ÿป from our Kanata location and their educators ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐Ÿซ have taken this opportunity to move their circle โญ•๏ธ time outside. This encourages the children to join and to
space themselves out and listen to stories, ๐Ÿ“šand sing ๐ŸŽถ songs, and do action games. This is all done while enjoying the beautiful weather. โ˜€๏ธ

At Carling, the toddlers and preschoolers greatly enjoy engaging in water ๐Ÿ’ฆ based activities. They take pleasure in making various creations in the kitchen using leaves ๐Ÿ‚, water ๐Ÿ’ฆ, sand and other materials they can find. They also enjoy participating in water ๐Ÿ’ฆ splashing games as a means to cool down on a warm sunnyโ˜€๏ธ day.
