Join us for our award winning Red Cross Babysitting course Saturday, July 25th.

The course is taught by a Red Cross First Aid Instructor and runs for from 9AM to 4PM. Students must be a minimum 11 years of age (or have completed Grade 5). Students will receive a certificate and a take-home manual.

It’s Not Just Lyme Disease: What You Should Know About Tick-Borne Illnesses!

Anaplasmosis is a lesser known tick-borne illness that can cause fever, chills, headaches, and muscle aches often within 1–2 weeks of a tick bite. While many people are aware of Lyme disease, ticks can carry multiple infections, including anaplasmosis.

As time outdoors increases, it’s important to take precautions: use insect repellent, perform tick checks after being outside, and remove ticks promptly. Awareness is key to early recognition and treatment.
