Thought of the day...
Shape the Future of EarlyON in Ottawa.
The City of Ottawa, with support from Nanos Research, wants to hear from parents, guardians, and caregivers who currently use or have recently used EarlyON Child and Family Centre programs. Your experience will help improve services for families across the city.
Find out more at: Engage.Ottawa.ca/EarlyON
Take the Survey
Visit EngageOttawa.ca/EarlyON to complete the survey and learn more about this project.
The survey takes 10–20 minutes, and all responses are confidential.
Your feedback will help the City better understand:
* Your experiences at EarlyON programs
* What supports at EarlyON are working well
* Barriers or challenges to participation
* Opportunities to strengthen services citywide
Interested in Sharing More? Your Voice Matters
We’re also looking for parents, guardians, and caregivers to participate in a short telephone interview to provide more in-depth feedback. If you’d like to take part, please email: [email protected] with the subject line: “EarlyON interview opportunity.” We have a limited number of interview spots, so please reach out soon if you are interested!
Your insights will inform the City’s EarlyON Program Evaluation and help ensure services remain responsive, inclusive, and supportive of families across Ottawa.
Thank you for helping shape the future of EarlyON!

Today is Earth Day Canada’s This years campaign aims to encourage citizens, municipalities, organizations and businesses to commit to conscious practices, whether they are energy-related, material, digital, organizational, behavioural or collective. The goal: to promote a simpler, more inclusive and sustainable way of life, aligned with planetary boundaries.
The theme of Earth Day for 2026 is:
Progress does not happen in silence.
It happens when people show up.
Environmental progress is built through everyday action—from communities protecting ecosystems to innovators advancing solutions. Clean air, safe water, and climate resilience aren’t optional—they’re essential. For Earth Day 2026, we’re mobilizing at scale. Every action counts. Every voice matters.
From April 20 to 25 we celebrate National Volunteer Week.
This is a time to recognize the remarkable individuals who dedicate their time, compassion, and energy to strengthening organization.
CCS would like to thank our board members and volunteers who have helped make CCS the success that it is!
