How awesome are these? Super simple, fun activity for the kids (and letβs face it, the adults think itβs pretty cool too π ) on these really cold days!
Just add a couple drops of food colouring (Wilton gels are the best) into water in a plastic container and voila! Ice π§ magic!
Thanks for the idea!
(still in my system).

What a whirlwind 2020 has been! It is with a very heavy heart, that I announce I will be closing my daycare indefinitely, after an amazing 5 years.
I will miss all of my current families and Iβll cherish the memories made over the years.
I will be taking this time to focus on my familyβs wellbeing and hope that 2021 will be a lot easier on everyone.
Should I choose to reopen, I will be sure to update my page, but for now it is is goodbye.
Wishing you and your families all a Happy Holiday season and a very Happy New Year.
(I will not be doing any interviews to secure spaces as I am unsure if I will reopen)

All about the letter Bb. This week we are focusing on what this letter sounds like, writing the letter (for our older friends) and things that start with the letter B! The littles are really enjoying saying βba-ba-ba-ba-B!β

I LOVE that this fall sensory bin promotes so many great life skills. We have practised sorting, patterns explored different textures and colours and ππ» look ππ» at ππ» that ππ» pencil ππ» grip!! I am so proud of these two. These tongs from are the perfect way to promote proper pencil grip without even writing! Rainy and wet mornings wonβt stop us from learning and having fun!

A wet morning (and older kids online learning) means staying in and making the best with what we have. I love that we have this option for the littles to burn some energy! Swing away little ones. π

Our little friends did a great job creating their apple trees today! A quick but fun activity that encourages the littles to follow simple prompts, practice their counting skills and try using realistic colours! Job well done friends!
