This beautiful filly made her entrance into the world on Friday, May 29th, at 11:20PM Thankfully, Clover is an experienced mother who sensed something was wrong and acted quickly, giving her foal a fighting chance. I arrived just minutes later to assist with a red bag delivery.

I’ve never pulled a foal so quickly. By the time I got there I had the foal out within a minute. Remarkably, she was up, nursing, and had her first p**p within 1.5 hours!

Every breeder's worst nightmare is a red bag, so we feel incredibly fortunate to have a healthy foal. Here’s to Sundae and her bright future, she has big shoes to fill 🧡🧡

We are still admiring this incredible hay feeder/ individual shelters crafted by Rob! These innovative structures not only allow our wonderful horses to access round bales effortlessly but also provide essential shade and protection from the elements with their roofs.

On one side, they cater to our individual turnouts, while the other side ensures our senior paddock is well-fed and comfortable.

Every paddock on the property enjoys 24/7 access to hay, which is vital for maintaining optimal horse health. This thoughtful design not only simplifies our management tasks but also leads to significant savings by utilizing round bales in nets, all while keeping them sheltered from rain and wind.
