Dr. David Sidhu and his colleague Dr. Penny Pexman recently published an article titled, ‘What’s in a name?How the sound of names can bias hiring decisions’. The concept of sound symbolism is discussed, followed by exploration of how these associations might affect judgment in regard to hiring.
