Alexa Love Tremblay is an innovative entrepreneur and a former French Immersion teacher in Quebec, where she taught for seven years. Now the owner of Madame A's, she is dedicated to helping families learn and practice French from home through flexible, interactive educational resources. Alexa’s passion for language learning drives her mission to make French accessible, engaging, and fun for learners of all ages.

💡Our goal for our Virtual French Tutoring Program is to build each child’s confidence in speaking and the French language. We want to promote bilingualism amongst Canada’s youth by engaging kids through multiple mediums and showing them that learning French can be FUN! With the ongoing support of all our fabulous volunteers we can expose Canada’s youth to learning and enjoying the French language. 💡
Here’s what you can look forward to:
📚 Innovative Tutoring: Engage with students through interactive lessons and fun activities.
🎓 🖥️ Virtual Learning: Conduct sessions and connect with learners online.
🌍 Global Impact: Help learners from all over the world connect with the beauty of the French language.
🤝 Community Building: Join a network of passionate volunteers and educators.

📚 Currently, we are looking for volunteers to participate as French tutors for our Fall 2024 French Tutoring program.
Tutors will help children by speaking in French and working to improve the child's French in conversation, reading, and writing. Volunteers must be comfortable working with young kids and in both French and English.
We are looking for volunteers who can dedicate 1 to 2 hours per week (minimum) for our French Tutoring program. Volunteers must be able to join us for the entirety of at least one program. Programs are usually 8 weeks long and occur regularly from September to June.
Volunteers choose their own schedule each week. Training modules are provided to all volunteers. This position is virtual, and tutors will work with kids across Canada to help them maintain their French via Skype. If you are interested or know anyone that is interested, please fill out the application form below. 📚

🌍 At Canadian Parents for French, we also provide a content creators program. Volunteers can create Google Slides/PowerPoint presentations. Each presentation will be focused on a new topic. Volunteers will research and source credible resources with which to create an interactive virtual lesson for kids of our programs. The lessons are designed to get the kids speaking and practicing their French. The schedule for this program is flexible for all volunteers.🌍

📚 Actuellement, nous recherchons des bénévoles pour participer en tant que tuteurs de français pour notre programme de tutorat de français de l'automne 2024.
Les tuteurs aideront les enfants en parlant en français et en travaillant à améliorer le français de l'enfant dans la conversation, la lecture et l'écriture. Les bénévoles doivent être à l'aise pour travailler avec de jeunes enfants en français et en anglais.
Nous recherchons des bénévoles qui peuvent consacrer 1 à 2 heures par semaine (minimum) à notre programme de tutorat en français.
