The twist is that instead of having a standard virtual mixer, we will be hosting a night of family feud! Topics will vary from communications and media, Ottawa, and many others! We’d love to see you there!

🔴 More about Maryam: Maryam: Leading both the editorial and communications verticals for West Africa’s largest food and drink website, she established one of the first platforms that discussed the region’s broad gastronomy.
During the country’s definitive protests against police brutality in 2020, she executed a communications strategy that sought to counter the government’s misinformation campaign by securing press mentions for both her organization and for a digital archive, Soroke Nigeria.
🔴 More about Zindziswe: One of her proudest professional and personal moments was working for Trinidad and Tobago’s
2015 General Election campaign for her then-client and now-two-term Prime Minister Dr Keith
Christopher Rowley. Delving into political communications allowed her to expand her volunteering
activities, including being elected Vice Chair of her party group two years running, as she developed
programs to service underserved communities. She developed an annual entrepreneurship course
and planned an annual health fair for Diego Martin residents (Trinidad and Tobago), both of which garnered successful coverage and support from corporate sponsors.
See you on Thursday evening!
