*Qualifications:*
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in early childhood education is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is an asset.
- Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children.

*Responsibilities:*

1. *Supervision and Safety:*
- Monitor and supervise children at all times to ensure their safety.
- Assist in implementing safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents.
- Address any safety concerns immediately and report them to the appropriate personnel.

2. *Childcare Support:*
- Help with feeding, changing diapers, and potty training.
- Provide care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Support children's physical, emotional, and social development through nurturing interactions.

3. *Activity Assistance:*
- Assist in planning and conducting age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor play.
- Encourage learning through play and foster a positive environment for children.
- Adapt activities to meet the individual needs of each child under the guidance of the lead teacher.

4. *Communication:*
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child’s daily activities and behavior.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure consistency in care.
- Maintain friendly and cooperative relationships with families and staff.

5. *Environment Maintenance:*
- Assist in cleaning and organizing the space to ensure a safe environment.
- Help sanitize toys, equipment, and materials regularly.
- Set up toys, furniture, and equipment to promote active learning.

6. *Behavior Management Support:*
- Support positive discipline techniques to guide children’s behavior.
- Encourage cooperative play and socialization among children.
- Assist in addressing behavioral issues promptly in line with daycare policies.

7. *Emergency Response:*
- Be prepared to assist in emergencies such as illness or injury.
- Administer first aid when necessary under the direction of qualified staff.
- Notify parents and appropriate authorities in case of an emergency.
