Since the mid 1990′s, Chinatown’s businesses and community centres have been involving artists in this neighbourhood, creating its own coterie of artists, musicians and writers, and admirers. Happy Lunar New Year🐴🧧❤️‼️ The Chinatown Remixed Collective was proud to present a big cheque from last year’s Fundraiser to the Somerset West Community Health Centre’s, Yet Keen Seniors’ Day Centre.

The Downtown Rideau BIA, in partnership with the Ottawa Art Gallery - Galerie d'art d'Ottawa, FAT BASTARD BURRITO CO., and are seeking proposals for a new mural installation on the east-facing brick wall at 400 Rideau Street, a highly visible location in Ottawa’s Original Downtown – the heart of the national capital.

A huge shoutout to all the incredible artists, performers, businesses (and their amazing staff and clients), volunteers, the Ottawa Chinatown, Yet Keen Seniors’ Day Centre, SWCHC and most of all, the Ottawa community for your amazing support. ❤️‼️
Today marks the final day of the festival, and the Chinatown Remixed Collective is deeply grateful to everyone who helped bring art, culture, and connection back to Chinatown.

Happening next Thursday, November 6th at Atrium Art Gallery, Ben Franklin Centre, with Chinatown Remixed Participating artist , An Nguyen!!! We hope to see you there. 5:30-7:30pm. Also a reminder this is the second last day to check out all the art exhibits in Chinatown. visit An’s exhibit at Fei Fung Vietnamese Restaurant until Oct 31st.

This weekend, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Co Cham Vietnamese Restaurant, surrounded by Chinatown Remixed Artist Avery Ng’s digital prints exhibition. Go check it out. All participating Chinatown Remixed Art exhibits are on display until the end of the month. .ng
