All proceeds from the evening go directly toward supporting OJCS students and programs, so it’s a great night out for a great cause.

Need childcare? On-site babysitting will be available, hosted by Grade 8 students, with proceeds supporting their grad trip.

Yom Ha’atzmaut was filled with energy, pride, and ruach! The day began with Rabbi Rotenberg and DJ Yehoshua, who led an exciting Israeli dance party that had the whole school celebrating together. Students then rotated through immersive, hands-on activities planned by Morah Jaqui, designed to bring Israeli culture, geography, and history to life. They visited the PTA-created shuk, where they sampled delicious Israeli-style tastes and experienced the sights and sounds of a vibrant marketplace. They also learned about the chalutzim, stepping into the world of early pioneers who helped build the State of Israel through resilience, cooperation, and community.

It was an unforgettable day of celebration, learning, and connection to Israel’s land, culture, and people. 🇮🇱🎉
