Where has the time gone ? I built this page years ago and with the unexpected business of being a nurse the last few years, I regretfully haven’t paid as much attention to this special space I wanted to. I am so grateful to all the children, families , friends, coworkers,and the adult children who helped me build this page and contribute to it initially.

Now a new beginning. Starting Sept 19, 2022 I will be available for child care ( infants and up ) Mon. Wed. and Friday. I will come to your home or if needed, meet children at the school bus or at school and accompany them home. I am available for evenings on a regular basis or last minute.

I can travel anywhere within Ottawa, preferably the west end to downtown. I charge $ 20.00 for up to 3 children. I’m open to negotiate if there are more.

As a nurse, I have many years experience with children in the community and in the schools, with complex medical conditions. I am also available to these families for a negotiated fee.

18 months old, Seamus, 6 week old Erin. I spent everyday with them as their Nanny until they were in school full time but remained as their babysitter when needed. Now Seamus is a successful ( and brilliant ) artist and Erin, her husband ,daughter and son are living in a self sustaining earth ship type home. I’m so very proud of both of them.

This is Arabella wearing the bell socks I made for her. When her mother was the same age. I was their full time Nanny for Erin and her brother from when they were 6weeks and 18 months until they were both in school and have remained close to them. Erin LOVED her bell socks and now her daughter had her turn.
