ATTENTION - All school buses and vans serving the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board are cancelled today, February 10, 2023, due to poor weather conditions.

Schools are still open. Parents are welcome to drop off their children at school and pick them up at regular bell times. The Extended Day Program is also open for registered students.

The decision to cancel buses is the responsibility of the Ottawa Student Transportation Authority (OSTA), which manages student transportation for the OCDSB and Ottawa Catholic School Board.

Students can continue to learn from home using the class LMS (Learning Management System), where OCDSB educators regularly update learning materials. Your teacher may contact you if there is any additional information.

In the event of a snow day, where buses are canceled tomorrow, Friday, December 16th, it is important to know that if you drive your child to school in the morning they will need to be picked up at 3:45pm. Whether or not buses are canceled, PLEASE call our attendance line or email to let us know your child(ren) will be away. This saves our wonderful office staff many calls as part of our safe arrivals program.

Families: A reminder that the first day of school is Tuesday, September 6th. We are looking forward to welcoming students back to our virtual and in-person classrooms in just under one week!

Reminder: When report cards are sent to parents, guardians & eligible students via email, the student's OEN is required to access it. For help with the OEN, contact your school now: there will be limited capacity to respond to queries once the school year ends. Learn more at ocdsb.ca/reportcards.
