When our city was held hostage by the truckers, they brandished our flag as if it was the symbol of their patriotic duty to cause chaos. I regrettably and sadly didn’t feel like the flag belonged to the nation anymore…
Now, with the Trump administrations very real and utterly outrageous attacks on our livelihoods, resources and our sovereign existence…I’m back to feeling like this flag represents us all once again. I AM CANADIAN!

Hey, powers that be: we need these in Ottawa!
Happy, laughing children this morning give me hope for peace on this solemn day ~ thank you to all who gave so much to give these children the freedom to be happy.
