Peter's Place Day care + after school classes Peter's Place is celebrating it's 5th Anniversary serving the children and families in Westboro Village in Ottawa's West end!!

I provide care for pre-school and Kindergarten age children from 8:30 to 2:30 and after school classes in art and crafts from 2:30 to 5:15 from my home in the heart of the Village. With a strong emphasis on learning through creative play and outdoor activity, children are encouraged to practice co-operation, sharing, and imaginative expression! The playroom has a LEGO table, costumes, hundreds of

books, dinosaurs and much more! Backyard has swings, a treehouse/fort/pirate ship, a sandbox and plenty of space bordered by flowering gardens in which to play...

We also make use of the schoolyard immediately following dismissal at Churchill and Clare Park at the end of my street!

When our city was held hostage by the truckers, they brandished our flag as if it was the symbol of their patriotic duty to cause chaos. I regrettably and sadly didn’t feel like the flag belonged to the nation anymore…
Now, with the Trump administrations very real and utterly outrageous attacks on our livelihoods, resources and our sovereign existence…I’m back to feeling like this flag represents us all once again. I AM CANADIAN!
