Their story goes back to 1998 where it used to be a DVD rental/sale company. The whole subscription idea started when they launched the membership program where members could rent as much DVDs are they wanted. Following their success, and with the rise of the internet hype, they moved their game to the next level! Took their leap of growth to invest in streaming, raised the standards of the game and here they are, one of the world's top entertainment providers with net worth exceeding USD200 billion.

One day a teacher went into classroom holding a cup of water and asked his students, "How heavy is this?". Students started guessing. He replied saying, the weight is not important but how long we hold on it is the important part.

How is that? when you hold the glass for 5 minutes you won't feel its weight, but as you holder it longer, it starts to burden you!

There was once a group of 50 people attending a personal development training. In the middle of the presentation, the speaker decided to move to a group activity. He handed out a balloon to each attendee and asked them to write their name on it.

The balloons were then placed in another room. Here the speaker then instructed them to enter that room and, within 5 minutes, find the balloon with their name on it. Everyone rushed and started searching.

The 5 minutes passes and nobody succeeded.

The speaker then told each person to pick up any random balloon and give it the person whose name is written on it. Within a few minutes everyone had their balloon back.

“Yet our happiness lies in the happiness of others. By giving them their happiness, you get yours.”

Moral of the story: Happiness and fulfillment lies in doing good for others. By helping others you help yourself.
