🦉 Timeless advise if we could keep this is mind before engaging in the next time with one of our "complicated" relationships.

👩‍🦱 Just sent to a friend who immediately printed it and put on her fridge. She, like many of us, has anxiety over emotionally charged conversations with family members... so many triggers and landmines to navigate ...

☺️ This advise can really help to help us detach from the anxiety.

Thinking of everyone I talk to (friends, family, clients, including myself 😆), one consistent thing keeps coming up as a "go to" In the midst of life's chaos.

Find moments of stillness. These quiet moments allow for stopping the hamster wheel of the brain, reflection, self-discovery, and maybe even a renewed sense of purpose.

Just received my 2023 Audible recap. Wow who knew!

148 hours on religion/spirituality and 87 on business/career. For me, reading is more than a hobby; it's a way to access a vast library of endlessly fascinating human experience.

As a Success Coach, this constant learning allows me to offer truly personalized guidance - not only drawing on my own training and experience but also the wisdom of countless others to guide my clients achieve their goals.

Loss, Love, Laughter, Life ...

On the other side of profound loss, we wonder:
- "will I ever come out of this"
- "will the sadness ever go away
- "what's next" or "who am I without the pain/burden"

Well, coming out on the other side of a recent loss of my spouse, I can say that there is love, laughter and light, as I move through deep grief.

Here are a few pics from a recent trip with 2 old friends and 2 new ladies I had never met before.

As the photos can attest, we all bonded fast!

And, guess what?

In spite of the stresses of travel, meeting new people, driving in Italy, and scariest roads imaginable on the edge of cliffs, unintelligible tolls - here we are - sharing the joy of discovering gorgeous and delicious Italy, enjoying deep convos and so much laughter.

I feel my soul is nicely jump-started on it's way to healing.

It's a choice - stay in the sadness - for any myriad of reasons: misplaced loyalty, guilt, anxiety over what people might think/say, addiction to the attention that grief brings, or even difficulty taking initiative when in grief.

But - choosing to make positive moves in the direction of your joy IT IS SO WORTH IT! 🤣😎🤩🥰☀️💥💓

I believe one of life's enduring richness is keeping in contact with friends and "friend/collegues". Had that opportunity last night. My heart is full 🥰

And, maybe because it takes time, effort and sometimes a bit of $ to make that effort - we should do it. Meaninful connections become more meaningful when we go out of our way for our "people".

Not sure if our heart could be as rewarded when we say "too much trouble", "next time". or "too busy".

As I have learned from someone near and dear to me - life is about beautiful experiences. This is one of my favs - precious time with friends... And, yours?

I hope your fall is off to a wonderful start. 🍂 After spending some much-needed time caring for my partner’s health, I’m ready to reconnect with all of you here. ❤️ In respecting his wishes, I won’t be sharing details about his situation, but please know that your presence and support mean the world to me.
