Art Club (ages 6-9) NEW!

This five-week series offers an engaging introduction to drawing, painting, collage, and printmaking. We'll explore observational drawing, nature illustration, still life, abstract, and drawing from the imagination. Each session offers inspiring materials and techniques and I encourage students to experiment and make their own creative choices.

This PA day, create a cozy, one-of-a-kind home for feathered friends! We will use the wet felting process to transform soft wool into a sturdy, hanging nest. Choose your favourite colours to design a pod that is both a beautiful piece of art and a functional shelter for birds to enjoy.

Felted Flavours Fibre Arts Camp at Ottawa School of Art
Location: 35 George St. (ByWard Market)

I’m thrilled to be teaching this playful food-themed camp at OSA! In these 4-day camps, students will dive into the magic of both needle and wet felting to create a fun menu of summer treats—from woolly pizza to fruit geodes and dancing pickles.

June 29 – July 3 (Ages 9–11)
August 4 – August 7 (Ages 11–12)

What a wonderful week of nature-inspired creating! The PA day campers made felted art inspired by the spring forest, we made fruit geodes in Felting with Friends after school, and the Evergreen Connections kids created their armatures for a paper maché project and had fun with mixed media collage! Plus we spent extra time exploring and playing outdoors with all the great weather! #ottawakidsactivities #ottawaartclass #artcamp #afterschoolart #kidsartclass
