Tutor spotlight 💡
"Hi/Bonjour! I'm Meghan, a third-year Biomedical Science student at the University of Ottawa. A little bit about me, I am fully bilingual (French and English) and have experience working with children of all ages in various fields, including tutoring, supply teaching, and coaching volleyball. I have always had a large sense of curiosity and am passionate about subjects such as molecular biology, organic chemistry, and pharmacology. Throughout my academic career I have developed excellent study habits and skills that have enabled me to be on my university's Dean's List as well as participate in my Faculty's Co-Op program. Although I am pursuing a degree in Biomedical Science, I also hold a deep passion for arts and languages. I went to an Arts-specialized High School and graduated with a Fine Arts discipline in Drama. In my free time, you can often find me playing the piano or guitar, going for a run, playing beach volleyball, or reading a book! As someone with ADHD, I know how difficult it can be to find study habits that stick. I hope to be able to pass on my love of learning, skills and habits to my students. I look forward to helping you on your academic journey!"
