I finally ordered this set of cards today :)
A friend and I have talked about creating a set of cards for a long time (only since 2015 ahahhah) and haven’t gotten to doing it yet :) The process has been fruitful regardless.
I’m sharing the story of Matteo because it inspires me and it shows one more way one can use art/creativity purposefully.

You can pick cards online for fun https://experience.intuiti.it/experience.html
or use them a meeting with friends or colleagues.

Intùiti was originally designed for individual use to take time for creative thinking and practicing intuition.
It's also an unconventional way to introduce the topic of Creativity in schools and “break the ice” with professionals who are not used to open themselves up to sharing their ideas and suggestions.

Art and creative processes are like one of our superpowers in dealing with trauma. Artistic creation can touch the intelligence of trauma and transform it into creative expression.

Creative Convergence 2021 will demonstrate and celebrate the power of the arts to heal, to connect, to construct knowledge, to build bridges across borders, to foster inclusion, and nurture reconciliation.

Join us in-person and online from October 28 – 30, 2021 when The Canadian Network for Arts & Learning, along with key partners, will gather national and international experts and delegates in arts and culture, education, recreation, health, therapy, medicine, humanities, and community to engage in meaningful dialogue and seek solutions to the issues facing our increasingly intolerant, uncaring and violent world.

Wonderful facilitator and former SpiritArt Studio colleague, Linda Vanderlee, is offering a series of six free workshops.
Her message to you is below:

Hello my friends,

From the conversations I've been having lately, including the ones with myself (I do live alone after all), I am seriously concerned about our collective mental health. I am not a therapist but I strongly believe in and have experienced the difference that expression and a non-judgmental community can make.

So I'm offering this Sunday Check-in for the next six weeks.

If you or someone you know would appreciate this kind of support, send me an email and I'll add you to the list. Folks are welcome to come to one or all six sessions. I would appreciate getting people's email by Saturday if possible. Link will go out Sunday morning.

Starting this Sunday, May 16, from 7 - 8:30 PM (EST), via Zoom.
(Ya I know, but it's better than nothing.)

Camera's can be off or on, you can simply lie down and listen if you prefer, or maybe you'll want to express something in a different way. Come as you are. Sharing is totally optional. Listening with an open heart, to yourself as well as to anyone who does speak, is what we are aiming for.

I appreciate you sharing, especially with those not on Facebook. (Yes, it's free.)

With warmth,

Linda
