Alhamdulillah, over 100 attendees benefited from last month's seminar conducted by the Beshirs in Paris, France.
One of the highlights of the event was when a regular attendee who attended all the past seminars that were held in France introduced his son (a teenager) with tears in his eyes saying:
"Those two people are the main reason after Allah's help that you are such a good young person. They taught me how to raise you right. Say Jazakum Allah Khayrun to them."
It was a very emotional moment. May Allah SWT accept all our efforts and help guide our youth and help us with their Tarbiyah.

Why are many professional women over 30 not married?
Are marriages failing because women nowadays are less obedient than in the past? If a man can marry someone from “back home,” shouldn’t women here be more compromising, since they have less choice?

Here is my new tip for all couples:
"Turn up your listening sensitivity. In the midst of a conflict, there is absolutely nothing that improves the situation as dramatically as listening. We understand that when you are fuming about some intense issue, the last thing you want to do is listen, but when you open yourself up to what your spouse is saying, resolution has begun. It works like magic. When you are listened to, you aren’t nearly so eager to win at the other person’s expense. To be listened to makes you want to listen."

Another tip to strengthen spousal relation and bring happiness among couples:
"Express opinions in a calm and polite way. Do not shout or yell. Learn to keep your cool even at the most tense moments and learn to be kind to each other. In the context of very difficult times among couples, Allah SWT has said in Surah Al-Baqara verse 237 what could be translated as "And don't forget the gracious and courteous interactions between you."

Here is a new tip for married couples. I hope it will bring happiness and strengthen the spousal relation:
"Don't idealize each other. Accept small mistakes as long as they don't form bad behavioral patterns. After all, no human is perfect and we all make mistakes. It was indicated in one of Prophet Muhammad's sayings that every human makes mistakes and the best of those who make mistakes are those who try to repent and correct these mistakes."

Here is this week's tip to all couples:
"Consider each other's feelings and satisfy each other's needs; never make jokes about your spouse or her/his family if these jokes are not appreciated"

Here is another tip for all couples
"Learn to communicate your feelings to your spouse. Let him/her know what you feel, whether it is feeling hurt or happy, but do it in a respectful and calm way with the proper intentions to avoid hurting your spouse, not with the goal of venting your anger and getting back at him/her."
