Destination Canada in Europe

Destination Canada will be open between July 4 and August 4, 2025. This year more than 350 young people from more than 20 countries spent their summer with Destination Canada in Ottawa.
I am now ready with most dates for presentations in September, October, and November 2024.

I hope this note finds everyone well.

This summer, Destination Canada was back to normal after the Corona years. 360 participants from 20 countries spent three or four weeks with Destination Canada.

As usual, we’re having accompanied groups from Germany and Denmark to Canada.

Hello all Destination Canada students and families,

Destination Canada is expecting more than 300 international students this summer.

We still have room for junior students (up to and including 17 years) in the summer of 2023.

As you may know, Destination Canada is now offering two programs for older students (age group 18-21).

We still have room for students for the Leader in Training Program (beginning July 8 or July 15, 2023) and the new Senior Program (also beginning July 8 or July 15, 2023),

This summer, we have accompanied flights from Copenhagen on July 8 and from Frankfurt on July 8 and July 15.

Hi all former Destination Canada students.

As you know, Destination Canada was postponed both in 2020 and 2021.

Now after two long years, we have good news: Destination Canada is preparing to welcome students in Ottawa next summer.

In 2022, Destination Canada will be offering three different programs:

Junior Program, for students from 10 to 17 years of age
3-week program from July 9 to 30 or July 16 to August 6.
3-week program from July 9 to August 6

Leader in Training, for students from 18 to 21 years of age
3-week program from July 9 to July 30

Senior Program, for students from 18 to 21 years of age
3-week program from July 16 to August 6

As usual we can offer accompanied flights to Canada from Germany and Denmark.

The arrival dates for next summer will be July 9 and July 16.

On July 9 we’re having accompanied flights from Denmark and Germany. We may have an accompanied flight from Germany on July 16, too.

As you know, Destination Canada was cancelled in 2020 and 2021. Therefore, in addition to the program for students up to and including 17 years, Destination Canada will offer a senior camp for 18- to 21-year-old students.

Presentations in Denmark and Germany will start shortly. We're hoping to have presentations in Austria in February.

Hello all fans of Destination Canada. Unfortunately, we have to postpone Destination Canada for one more year. The accompanied group will fly to Canada on July 9, 2002.

Although our Summer Camp is once again postponed for another season due to Covid, we want to stay in close contact and keep everyone excited about their future participation in our Summer Camp in Ottawa (for junior students from 10 to 17 and senior students from 18 to 19).

Therefore, we will be hosting another virtual Zoom gathering next weekend - Saturday, May 8.

Everyone is welcome to attend. We will take you on a live tour of springtime in the beautiful city of Ottawa (our Nation’s Capital) and have some fun for 45 minutes on a Saturday.

Destination Canada

Destination Canada was representing English at the yearly Language Camp at Hjørring Gymnasium this weekend. Nearly 200 students from 45 upper secondary schools in Denmark attended the camp. Here are some pictures of this summer at Destination Canada.

Among sports activities, the kids can choose among fitness, volleyball, American football, soccer, tennis, arts & crafts, swimming, basketball, drama lessons, and ultimate frisbee.

This year the students are visiting the Montreal Science Centre during their daytrip to Montreal.

I always enjoy seeing the many different groups at the Olympics. This summer’s winners are Old & Bold who did a really good and convincing job.
