Students Achai and Dylan were along for the ride and made many new friends too…💕

is at it again…her legacy of guiding artists and audiophiles never ends…and now she’s founded a new festival…The Wilding….come join May 2!👏

For almost 35 years, a member of the family has unlocked the studio doors at Raven Street/TARA. Between my dad, brother Marc, my husband James and I..the first order of business was warming up the coffee machine and putting on some music. Who followed us in each day were our additional Raven Street/TARA family including- Phil Bova, Janet Kirby, Steve Tevlin, JayJaknunas, Lori Harris, Marty Sobb, Nick Beaton, Julie Larocque, Victor Nesrallah, Jake Jones and Jakub Racek to name a few...incredible teachers, musicians, engineers and all round awesome studio support.
And of course, we owe our longevity to every brilliant student who enrolled at TARA(there are almost 1000 of you!) and Raven Street client who booked and kept coming...and sending their friends and family year after year. Without all of these people, we simply would not be here for more than three decades. So to this incredible Ottawa community, thank you for the privilege of being able to work with you...your support has been everything, and we hope to be here for another 35. (And you, Tara Shannon...NAILED IT!)

Well that was a party…. 2025 was as unpredictable as always, and shared with the best people (our students, staff and clients).
We are forever grateful to be in this place with such memorable individuals, day in and day out…not sure how 2026 will top it, but if we’ve learned anything from our past 34 years…it probably will 🙏
