One day, I realized that if my Facebook or Instagram account gets hacked or if I lose access, both accounts will disappear since they're connected and synced.
I've since disconnected my page from my Instagram account and I forget to post here!

I am SO unbelievably backed up in my posting schedule π€― I swore to myself I would never teach a split level class ever again, but here I am...
The fact that I've disappeared doesn't mean I haven't been working hard! I just wrapped up my fall sessions after a very busy summer (including a new 11-week old border collie puppy and a Brittany Spaniel that I can'twait to show you!), and have been spending my evenings & weekends editing.
People ask me why I work so hard when I have a full-time teaching job, but this is my passion and my little escape. I wouldn't trade it for the world π π©·
Here's an album that little Oskar ordered this summer. Our albums are handcrafted and lay flat so you can enjoy your photos uninterrupted. You can choose from a variety of materials and colors. Each album is designed by yours truly so you don't have to worry about what layout looks good.

I also organize small dog socials in Ottawa, and we just had our annual photo fundraiser, this year benefiting Caitlin's Critters Wildlife Orphanage πΏ
We had a small group this year but we were still able to raise $80, thank you for coming everyone!

Every pet I capture is special, but some really pull on my heart strings. There were a few times when I had tears in my eyes when I was editing Oskar's portraits.
The place he holds in his parents' hearts, the fact that he's older and he's spent his whole life with them, his expressions in the photos, and most of all, because I know how much these images mean to them.
I know exactly how it feels, because I also have an old little man in my life, and the photos I have of and with him mean the world to me.
Oskar looks sweet and innocent, but he's had quite a life! I'll tell you more about him in one of the pet of the week posts, but I'll just say that one of his accomplishments in life was to protect his parents from an elk π«
