The Israel Movement for Reform and Progressive Judaism in Israel, our congregations, rabbis professional staff and our volunteers, awaken this morning with a deep sense of emotion and hope. For the first time in two years, a spark of light has appeared.
Our hands are extended in embrace, and our prayers are with the families of the hostages.
May we all continue to hold on to hope together, until our sons and daughter return home, across the border, to their families.
We also reach out to all the soldiers, men and women, active duty and reservists, praying for the swift end of the war and for their safe return.
We will not forget the fallen, the murdered, and the victims. We will continue to pray for the healing of the wounded and take responsibility for rebuilding a just and righteous Israeli society in the days to come.
