We are absolutely thrilled to be your 2022/23 executive team! We have a lot of fun stuff planned (coming very soon 😁) and are looking forward to getting together in person, finally.

As you can see, we are looking for someone to join our team as VP Finance. Stay tuned for more information coming in the next few weeks!

Exec applications for 2022-2023 are how open! This year, we are getting help from CUSA to select our new execs. Make sure to go to CUSA's "jobs" webpage to see all of the job descriptions for each role as well as details on how to apply. Applications are open until July 20th at 4PM EST.

Hello CCSA members!

We hope that your summer has been going well so far! As for us, we are starting to prepare to find our future execs for the 2022-23 academic year (our post about open positions with the link to apply should be posted tomorrow, so keep you eyes peeled! 👀).

As a part of this process, CUSA wants a neutral member to be a part of the interview panel. This would be someone that is *not* applying for any CCSA positions this upcoming year, which helps to make sure that our interview and selection process is as objective and transparent as possible.

Unless there are some major hiccups, the interviews should happen from July 21-29th. If you want to help the CCSA and have some availability within that timeframe, please contact us via email ([email protected]), Facebook Messenger or Instagram DMs by *July 15th*.

We hope that you will have a great rest to your summer, and the CCSA will welcome you with our events starting in September!

HAPPY NEW YEAR AND WELCOME BACK!

Carleton, University of Toronto, and McGill invite you to join our first inter-university cognitive science panel! We partnered together to bring students from all around Canada and the world an opportunity to learn more about cognitive science and interact with some of the leading researchers in this field! Professors from different fields, including psychology, neuroscience, and philosophy, from all three universities will be having a rich discussion about this year’s main topic, ‘Modelling the Mind.’ The interdisciplinary nature of cognitive science is crucial for building a better understanding of how our brain interacts with the world around us and influences our own behaviour.
