A community of young adults and students gathered around a home-cooked meal to eat, connect, & reflect. Free meals are offered throughout both Fall and Winter semesters, and we have our Exam Pause tables on campus during exams.

Today is the day that we hand out free gingerbread cookie making kits! Our volunteers will be in front of St.Albans church handing them out. We have only 30 kits and hope to give them all out in preparation for our Sunday zoom baking party at 6. Hope to see you all today between 2 and 4pm. ❤️

The Open Table crew handed out pre-packed meals in front of St.Albans this evening! Thanks to everyone who stopped by. It was good seeing your half faces. Tonight, the meals we handed out were Thai Coconut curry with basmati rice and manicotti with spaghetti squash and kale and Parmesan cream😁❤️

Dear friends of Open Table,
We have all been experiencing the effects of measures put in place to try and flatten the curve related to COVID-19. There have been tremendous acts of love in evidence as people try and protect those most vulnerable in our communities. Many of us are also experiencing the challenging impacts of social isolation, as we lose our in person opportunities for connection.
In light of this, the Open Table Committee has decided to cancel the March 29 Dinner due to the COVID 19 protocols as outlined by the Ottawa Public Health
BUT we will still be meeting (just not in person)

Another successful Open Table meal. Best way to begin the month of March. Big thanks to Martin Luther Lutheran Church and St. Albans Church for cooking delicious food and volunteering to serve tonight. We appreciate the help of all the volunteers that came to help out. We fed over 60 young adults and sent everyone home with food!! Thanks for coming out everyone ❤️
