Join us on Wednesday, May 16th, for the 8th edition of the GWI's "Water Conversations". We'll be hearing from Public Affairs graduate Nadia Springle on the effectiveness of decentralization policies in expanding access to water in Ghana and Tanzania!

March 20th is World Water Day, and Carleton is hosting Ottawa Riverkeeper Meredith Brown for a talk about her non-profit group's work in conserving the Ottawa River! Find out more about them at http://www.ottawariverkeeper.ca/ and come hear Meredith speak in the University Centre, room 182 from 2:45 pm to 3:45 pm.
This event is co-hosted by the Global Water Institute, and the Carleton student chapters of the International Water Association, the Water Environment Association of Ontario, and the Ontario Water Works Association. This is a great opportunity to meet other students on campus who are passionate about water issues, so come one, come all!
