Jenna's Learning Playhouse

Hello everyone,

Welcome to Jenna’s Learning playhouse. I am so excited to announce that I am opening a new home daycare in April! I have worked in daycare centers for several years and I am now able to achieve my dream of opening my own home daycare. I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator with lots of experience. I am also a mom of 2 girls, 4 and 1 years old. I love creating safe and welcoming spaces where children thrive.

The daycare is on the main level of my home. The space features a huge bay window which provides lots of natural light. We have blackout curtains for nap time / quiet time to ensure that the children can get the rest they need.

We also have a large fenced in backyard that has a variety of outdoor toys. We will spend a lot of time learning and playing outdoors.

Your child will take part in play based learning activities based on their interests. Everyday we will have activities that allow your child to strengthen their gross and fine motor skills. We will also have activities that focus on language, creative art, music and movement, numeracy, science, and cognitive skills such as problem solving. We also have a wonderful dramatic play area where children can role play and let their imagination run wild.

The children in my care will be provided with a morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack. We share our space with two small hypoallergenic dogs who love to join in on the fun. They are incredibly friendly who love to kiss, play and cuddle. If you join Jenna's Learning Playhouse you will become part of our family, your children will be safe and loved in this home daycare.
