Yesterday we did the ABC's of Ctrl Shortcuts, today we'll go over the extras for you!
Ctrl 1 - Single space lines
Ctrl 2 - Double space lines
Ctrl 5 - 1.5 space lines (we have no idea why it skips 3 and 4!)
Ctrl Left Bracket [ - Decrease font by 1 point
Ctrl Right Bracket ] - Increase front by 1 point
Ctrl Shift A - Selected text to all capital letters
Ctrl Shift D - Double underline to the selected text
Ctrl Shift E - enable or disable revision tracking
Ctrl Shift F - open font window
Ctrl Shift L - create a bullet point
Ctrl Shift * - view or hide non printing characters
Ctrl Shift > - increase font size
Ctrl Shift < - Decrease font size
Ctrl / c - insert Cent sign
Ctrl Del - delete word right of cursor
Ctrl Backspace - delete word left of cursor
Ctrl End - move cursor to bottom of document
Ctrl Home - move cursor to beginning of document
Ctrl Spacebar - rese highlighted text to the default font
Ctrl Enter - add a page break

And a couple bonus Shift shortcuts!
Shift Enter - Create a soft break instead of a new paragraph
Shift Insert - Paste
Shift Alt D - Insert current date
Shift Alt T - Insert current Time

Do you know your MS Word Keyboard Shortcut ABC's? Here's a comprehensive list so you don't have to keep googling how to do stuff!
Ctrl A - Selects everything in the document
Ctrl B - Adds bold
Ctrl C - Copies whatever you have selected
Ctrl D - Bring up a formatting menu
Ctrl E - Align Center
Ctrl F - Opens Find and Replace menu on Find tab
Ctrl G - Opens Find and Replace menu on Go To tab
Ctrl H - Opens Find and Replace menu on Replace tab
Ctrl I - Adds italics
Ctrl J - Uses Justify alignment
Ctrl K - Opens the Insert Hyperlink menu
ctrl L - Align Left
Ctrl M - adds an indent (Can also use Ctrl Tab)
Ctrl N - New Document
Ctrl O - Open Document
Ctrl P - Print Document
Ctrl Q - Removes formatting from the paragraph
Ctrl R - Right Justify
Ctrl S - Save
Ctrl T - Create hanging indent
Ctrl U - Underline
Ctrl V - Paste
Ctrl W - Close Document
Ctrl X - Cut (Copy and delete at the same time)
Ctrl Y - Redo previous undone action
Ctrl Z - Undo previous action (keep hitting to undo further back)

Did you accidentally close a tab you needed? Try hitting CTRL Shift and T to instantly reopen it! Works on most modern internet browsers :D

Are you working with 2 monitors and need to screen shot only one window? Try hitting Alt+ Print Screen (PrtScr)! This way only captures the window you're currently working in.

Do you need to have two windows open on your screen but it's a pain to drag and resize them? Try holding the windows key (between ctrl and alt) and then tapping the left or right arrow key! It'll make your current window take up half the screen quick and easy!
