Repost from
“We are proud to announce that, despite all efforts to shut us down, the Silenced by Scholasticide exhibition will be displayed in the CUSA Wing from October 16 to October 30, 2024.
On October 4th, less than a week after Carleton University shut down our original plans, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the rights to freedom of assembly and association, Gina Romero, stated that “Universities must take immediate steps to safeguard the right to protest peacefully on campuses in the context of international solidarity with the Palestinian people.”
The exhibition is a tribute to the over 10,000 Palestinian students and academics that have been murdered by the genocidal campaign of Israel. We will not be silenced, and we invite all to check out the exhibition when it goes live.”
