Carnal Canvases: A Live Erotic Art Competition! 🎨

Step into a world where passion meets pigment and desire fuels creativity! In this one-of-a-kind event, talented artists will go stroke-for-stroke in back-to-back intense 40-minute rounds, creating sensual, evocative, and uninhibited works of art right before your eyes.

The air will be thick with anticipation as the crowd watches intimate inspiration take form in real time. Audience members will vote on their favorite pieces and the artist with the most votes will be crowned the night’s champion, taking home a grand prize. There will also be a live auction to give attendees the chance to bid on the artwork created throughout the night, with all profits going into the hands of the artists.

He loves me, but no one loves me more than ME! 💛

This is one of the best lessons I’ve learned from my boyfriend. I used to sacrifice so much of myself in previous relationships. Yes, to some extent my caring nature was taken advantage of but therapy taught me that I was not a helpless victim in those dynamics. Being the “giver” fed my ego. It also completely disconnected me from my authentic pleasure.

In my current relationship, I’ve learned to say NO to things that don’t serve me or don’t fill my cup - partially to the credit of my boyfriend, Abe. He always says “No one loves Abe more than Abe loves Abe!” - a mantra that I have adopted for myself. We compromise for each other occasionally to nurture our relationship, but we always actively protect our individuality and put our relationship with ourselves above all else. Sometimes that means one of us declines a social invitation we were invited to as a couple, and the other goes alone. Sometimes that means going on a solo trip because the other person has other priorities. Sometimes that means not attending a family gathering, even if relatives are going to complain about you not being there together.

Of course, there’s a healthy balance of yes and no - but it’s important to recognize when your partner is saying “NO” as an act of self care instead of guilt tripping them about it. This was hard for me at first, because in my former marriage we were so merged and codependent. I used to take it personally when he said “NO” to an activity or event, but I’ve developed the self confidence & trust to know that it’s not a rejection of me. I no longer care if people judge us for doing things separately bc I see how it helps us maintain our erotic charge ⚡️

Maybe the amount of “NO” you’re hearing from your partner feels excessive. It’s very possible that their boundaries are building a wall between the two of you. If that’s the case, you need to communicate about it and figure out if compromise is possible - but it’s not fair to try and crash through your partner’s boundaries.
