March was Nutrition month and gave me a beautiful reminder that nutrition isn’t about perfection — it’s about connection. 🌱
This Nutrition Month, I’ve been reflecting on how food is so much more than nutrients on a plate. It’s culture, comfort, community, and care. In Canada, this year’s theme really highlighted how small, meaningful changes can support long-term health — not just physically, but emotionally too.
Some key takeaways I’m carrying forward:
✨ Progress over perfection always wins
✨ Listening to your body is a skill worth building
✨ Nourishment includes joy, not just “healthy” labels
✨ Cultural foods are powerful, meaningful, and absolutely belong
✨ Consistency matters more than intensity
As a dietitian (and a human!), I’m reminded that supporting others starts with meeting them where they are — not where we think they “should” be.
Here’s to eating with intention, flexibility, and kindness — this month and beyond. 💛
