Some pictures from the Verses for Change event, including co-organizers Maya and Malick not knowing what to do with our hands and settling on a double thumbs up 😅 Thank you to everyone who supported this joint effort between the poetry club and .carleton by donating, performing, and attending the event! And another thank you to the English department for hosting us : ) We collectively raised $250 via our Instagram fundraiser (to which you can still donate if you missed the chance before) plus a lot of food and other essential items for the Ottawa Food Bank and Shepherds of Good Hope. Both our teams are so grateful to be part of such a wonderful community 💖
