Happy Halloween! πŸ‘»

Please remember:
The child who is grabbing more than one piece of candy may have poor fine motor skills. The child who takes forever to pick out one piece of candy may have motor planning issues. The child who does not say "Trick or Treat" or "Thank you" may be non-verbal. The child who looks disappointed when they see your bowl of candy may have a food allergy. The child who isn't wearing a costume at all might have sensory
processing issues or autism.

Be Kind. Be Patient. It's Everyone's Halloween.

The PLAY Project’s practices are based on evidence – in fact, it has more research backing it than any other program of its kind.

Studies show that our play sessions produce great results. This program underwent a multi-site, randomized control trial which was funded by the National Institute of Health.

Today is World Mental Health Day! 🧠❀️

This day is meant to educate people about mental health, create awareness and continue to challenge the negative stigma. Thankfully, today, mental health is spoken about much more openly and publicly. Remember, you are never alone, if you are suffering, reach out to a loved one or a local resource. You never know who may be suffering in silence.

Share this post, for those who may need it most.
