The Office of the Ombudsman at Algonquin College provides a safe and confidential place for students, faculty and staff as well as distance learners to seek advice or discuss a concern related to the College. The service is independent, impartial and free to anyone in the College community. The office helps individuals understand College policies, explore their options and work toward fair and reasonable solutions through informal processes. Environmental challenges rarely fit within a single discipline. Neither should the research tackling them.
Algonquin College is advancing Bio-EARTH (Environmental Applied Research and Technology Hub), an interdisciplinary applied research platform connecting environmental science, biotechnology, sustainable agriculture, GeoAI and data-driven research.
Supported through a recent investment totaling approximately $2.5M from Canada Foundation for Innovation and the Ontario Research Fund, Bio-EARTH will help bring students, faculty and partners together to address real-world sustainability and resilience challenges.

We are 21 days away from !
Did you know that there are 21 service desks available at the Registrar’s Office (RO) in C150?
At the RO, students can access in-person support at three service areas: ITS for technical assistance with software and hardware, IEC for international student services, and RO for help with registration, admissions, and financial aid.

Algonquin College Parking Services offers several parking options for students, staff, and visitors at the Ottawa campus. Drivers can pay for parking by the hour or by the day using on-site machines, the Honk Mobile app, or by purchasing permits through an online parking portal. Electric vehicle charging stations are available in select lots for those with paid parking.
