I’ve been saving showing this particular gown ensemble as it was rather involved and complicated. My young lady has a “channel” Caldwell Estates in which she will be doing postings about farm life in the 1800’s. She needed a historically accurate costume to wear during her presentations. We did her un**es, petticoats, dress and bonnet. I forget to take pics of the un**es. They were made of a lovely good quality sheeting and dripping with lace and ribbon. My lady is a girly girl and LOVES frilly fluff.
The dress is a quilt cotton that we found over in Cambridge at Len's Mill Stores. Lens Mills have a huge collection of reproduction quilt cottons and are well worth the trip, if yr looking for historical anything.
Here’s some pics. Enjoy!

Are you interested in learning how to make a couple of these little beauties? We’re doing a workshop for Kawartha Ladies Golf League - non golfers….
If I can get enough interest, I’d be more than happy to put on an online Christmas Craft workshop for you or your group. Send me a message if you’re interested. 😁
