🐾🌿 We had a wonderful visit to Jungle Cat World!

Our students had a great time and had the opportunity to see and learn about many different animals. The experience connected beautifully with our Science curriculum and gave us an important opportunity to reflect on wildlife conservation.

Beyond learning about the animals, we talked about the importance of protecting their natural habitats so that wildlife can continue to live and thrive where they belong. 💚🌎

A fun day, but also a meaningful reminder that caring for our planet means caring for all the species that share it with us! 🐯🦁🐒

The grade 4s continued their habitat chat at the Oshawa Zoo today. We discussed how although not in their natural habitats, certain animals are able to adapt and change how they live in order to survive, despite being in a different part if the world.

Our grade 3 class enjoyed learning about animals and feeding them popcorn at the Oshawa Zoo.
