Our athletes stepped into the ring and challenged themselves through 3 hours of Muay Thai techniques, endurance, conditioning, and mental challenges.

This grading was not just about receiving a rank — it was about showing commitment, perseverance, and the willingness to pushbeyond comfort zones.

Proud of Dylan Hayman representing Mamute Martial Arts Academy at Submission Fights Oshawa💥

Dylan stepped up to the challenge and competed one belt division above his current rank against an experienced competitor who regularly competes at a high level.

From the opening moments, Dylan showed composure, toughness, and the willingness to test himself against someone with more competition experience.

The match went all the way to EBI over time, where Dylan secured the back and was only seconds away from finishing the round. Unfortunately, the position was not held for the required 3 seconds longer, and the match slipped away.

These are the moments that create better competitors. The lessons learned from high-pressuresituations are what build confidence, skill, and the mindset needed to reach the next level.

Proud of the growth, the courage to step up, and the heart Dylan showed on the mats.
