Even though we're in Canada, Disability Pride month is something close to Chelly Couvrette.

As a disabled individual we need more accessibility and equity in the world.

If your student is also disabled in any way please know I get it. From all of the weird frustrations with the Healthcare system to the frustrations of social situations. I get it 🖤

While Chelly is not a certified teacher, they are friends with a few current, retired, and up and coming ones.

This is one of the reasons the school supplies lists have things like tissues on them.

Don't make your teachers supply the extra supplies your children will need. Make it easier on them because this analogy isn't wrong.

On May 21, we celebrate the diversity of cultures that make our world so vibrant and beautiful. Let's take this opportunity to learn about each other's cultures, to celebrate our differences, and promote dialogue, understanding, and respect.
Together, we can create a world where diversity is not only accepted but celebrated.
