Calling all local makers! ❄️✨

Our Winter Maker Market is coming to Pierre Elliott Trudeau Public School on Saturday, November 21 from 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., and we’re looking for talented vendors to help make the day extra special!

We’re excited to fill our market with handcrafted goods, delicious confections, unique finds and creative seasonal offerings while bringing our community together for a warm and welcoming winter afternoon.

Interested in becoming a vendor? We’d love to hear from you! Vendors can learn more and submit their information using our online form:

You can also scan the QR code on the poster or connect directly with the PET School Community Council at [email protected] with any questions.

Come share what you create, connect with our community, and help us celebrate the wonderful makers, small businesses and creative talent in our community! 💙❄️

🍂 The leaves are changing, there’s a chill in the air, and October is officially here! 🍁 There’s lots happening in our Trailblazer community this week.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Trailblazer parents and guardians are warmly invited to our first SCC meeting of the year tomorrow, Monday, October 5. Join us in person in the school library at 6:30 p.m. or connect with us virtually. We’d love to have you be part of the conversation! 💬

🍿 Don’t forget to get those popcorn orders in by October 7 through School Cash Online: www.schoolcashonline.com.

🧦 Our Student Council is leading Socktober, a school-wide initiative to help bring a little extra warmth to others in need in our community. Families are encouraged to donate new pairs of socks for men, women and children throughout October. ❤️

Thank you, Trailblazers, for helping us fill the season with kindness, connection and school spirit! 🍁💙💛

🧥🧢 Lost something? We might just have it! 😅

Our Lost & Found is already overflowing with sweaters, hats, water bottles and more! Before your Trailblazer’s favourite things become permanent residents, stop by the tables outside the main office to claim any lost treasures—or remind your learner to take a look!

Let’s get those lost items back where they belong! 💙💛

🧦 Trailblazers, let’s put our best foot forward this Socktober!

We are proud to support Socktober—a simple donation that can make a meaningful difference. Clean, new socks are one of the most requested items by shelters and outreach organizations, helping provide warmth, comfort, hygiene and dignity to people experiencing hardship.

❤️ Consider adding a new pair of socks for men, women or children to your next shopping trip and help us fill the Socktober donation box. Sock donations will be collected through the month of October.

Small donation. Big difference. 🧦💙

🧡 Tomorrow, September 30, is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Trailblazer families, we invite students and staff to wear orange as we honour the children, families and communities affected by residential schools.

Wearing orange is one small way we can remember, learn, listen and reflect together. 🧡

💙 Where does SCC fundraising go?
Our School Community Council (SCC) is a partnership of parents, teaching staff and non-teaching staff working together to support student achievement and well-being and strengthen our school community.

When our Trailblazer Families support an SCC fundraiser, that support comes back to our students. Funds raised help us provide important projects and materials—like musical resources, athletic equipment and club materials; respond to staff requests for things like classroom supplies, software licences and an ice machine; and bring enriching experiences such as Jungle Sport, Scientist in the School and Zoo to You to PET.

From a slice of pizza to a popcorn order, every fundraiser helps turn the generosity of our families into real opportunities and experiences for our students. Thank you for making it possible! 💙💛

🤖🔬🛠️ Curious minds. Big ideas. Lots of making, creating and exploring!

There’s so much happening at PET! Take a peek inside our Robotics Club, Makerspace Club and Science Club and see how our students are learning, experimenting, building and bringing their ideas to life! 🚀✨

Clubs are about more than just learning something new—they’re a chance to discover passions, build confidence, make connections and find your people. Because at Pierre Elliott Trudeau Public School, Every Student Matters. Every Student Belongs. 💙

A HUGE thank-you to the incredible educators who share their time, talent and expertise to make these opportunities possible. Your enthusiasm helps our Trailblazers shine! 🌟
