Last week in our Casa classroom at DMS Campus 202, our children enjoyed a wonderful hands-on Montessori experience guided by Ms. Sylwia. They proudly made banana waffles, a green lemonade, and strawberry sorbet. These real-life activities help children build independence, coordination, and a genuine love of learning. At DMS, we believe in learning through meaningful experiences.🍋🧇🩵🥰

Remember when we planted those tiny seeds a few months ago? 🌱
Our Casa friends have been patiently caring for them each day, and look at them now! Watching these little sprouts grow has been a beautiful reminder that growth takes time, patience, and consistent care.

In Montessori, children learn best through hands-on experiences, and this simple gardening project has allowed them to observe firsthand how living things change and develop over time.

At CT, learning extends far beyond the four walls of the classroom. As part of the Montessori philosophy, hands-on, experiential learning is woven into our daily practice, allowing children to explore, discover, and connect with the world around them in meaningful ways.
Our recent visit to Jungle Cat World was a perfect example of learning in action! Through our Outdoor Classroom program, students had the opportunity to bring their classroom discussions to life by observing and learning about animals they regularly study and talk about. From exploring fascinating habitats to meeting incredible wildlife up close, the experience deepened their understanding in a way that books alone cannot.

One of the highlights of the day was the chance to interact with and even pet some of the animals, creating unforgettable moments of curiosity, wonder, and connection.

These authentic experiences help foster a lifelong love of learning while encouraging respect for nature and all living things.

As Maria Montessori beautifully said, “What the hand does, the mind remembers.”

This past Thursday, we had the pleasure of hosting our wonderful CT moms for a special afternoon tea to celebrate all the amazing things they do! ☕💐

The afternoon began with tea, snacks, and time spent together before moms visited their child’s classroom to take part in fun crafts alongside their little ones. From bead stringing and planting flowers to painting canvases, there was creativity, laughter, and so many special moments shared.
Thank you to all of our amazing CT moms for joining us, We hope everyone had a lovely afternoon! 💕
