What a fantastic day at River View Orchards! 🍎
Our school enjoyed a wonderful field trip today filled with fun, laughter, and outdoor adventures. Students and staff had the opportunity to go on a wagon ride, pick fresh apples, explore the corn maze, and spend time playing outdoors with friends.
To top it all off, the rain held off and gave us the perfect day to enjoy everything the orchard had to offer!
A big thank you to River View Orchard for helping us create such a memorable experience for our students. We had an amazing time!

National Truth and Reconciliation Day
This week, we recognized National Truth and Reconciliation Day through meaningful learning and reflection. Students listened to stories, participated in a drumming ceremony, created artwork, and engaged in conversations about kindness, respect, and reconciliation.
Many students and staff wore orange to honour the survivors of residential schools and to remember the children who never returned home. Together, we reflected on the ongoing journey of reconciliation and the importance of listening, learning, and understanding.

Terry Fox Walk
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our Terry Fox Walk on Friday morning! It was inspiring to see our students, families, and staff come together to honour Terry Fox's legacy of courage, determination, and hope. Your enthusiasm, support, and community spirit helped make the event a wonderful success. Thank you for helping us celebrate Terry's dream and for demonstrating the positive difference we can make when we work together.
We also found a stroller in the parent parking lot following the walk. It is currently being kept in the school office. If it belongs to you, please contact the office or stop by to pick it up.
